"Kenna"

Jen's eyes widen in excitement, "Check this out! I got a promotion! I am now the Chief of the Science Department. So, even though I was happy in my quarters, I was reassigned new ones. You just happened to call while I'm moving everything."
Scott started laughing, and said in his most sarcastic manner, "They made YOU the head of the department??? You've got to be kidding me! I think we should send your superiors to the G & J Counseling Service! Maybe if they saw our sisters in action, they might rethink their decision!"
Chuckling, "Ah, but you see, the Commodore is one half of a set of identical FULLY Betazoid twins!" Jen answered with a gleam in her eye.
Scott immediately sobered at the thought. "Oh, Jeez!" Shaking his head, he said, "So, other than the promo, what's happening in my big sister's life?"
Gulping down half her water, Jen started to describe the goings-on of the USS Federation. "Let's see ... we're out of the Thymus Void, thank God, and now we're orbiting the planet Kenna. It's crazy down there. While one team was playing diplomat, my team was doing an archaeological dig of sorts."
"Really? Sounds better than classes, at least!"
"Very true. But, so far, we've lost one team member to some crazy dilithium crystals they've got that trap and kill people."
"What?!?"
"Yeah, I know. My head's spinning from it. But, apart from the highly intellectual people, they have other natives who can communicate, but not well. I was trying to get the story from one, when Quell was absorbed, or whatever."
Laughing, "Ah, the life of a Lee is never dull!"
Ophelia screeched at this point, causing Jen to jump up, then turn back to the screen, "I gotta go, Scott! Love ya!"
"Back atcha Shortstuff!" The screen returned to the Federation logo.
Jen went to see what had Ophelia so upset. She found her in the bedroom - puffed, back arched, hissing and screeching at something in the corner. Jen cautiously looked, and started to laugh. She bent down, and carefully picked up the large spider. "Ophelia, it's only Igor. I'm going to bring him back down to sickbay while you calm yourself. Then, we get to unpack!"
