Duty Log, Lt. Jen Lee

Stardate 9904.19

Sitting with her back straight, and facing the console head on, Jen records her Duty Log after being released from Sickbay - found fit for duty. Her eyes have a far away look to them, and though they are looking directly at the recorder, the viewer knows she is actually seeing things that are far from her physical self. Her hair is disheveled, and some blood spatters her teal dress; all from the rescue attempt on the Fulian ship.

"I have been rescued from the Fulians. They had been masked and following us since the time of the void. They intercepted our sensor readings, but could not decipher them. While following us, they determined that I would be the logical choice of a person to do this for them. They mounted an attack upon us with the sole purpose of taking me to their ship for this work.

"I was given over to the care of a Fulian by the name of T'Mar. I was kept in his quarters, and forced to wear a collar that would not only allow them to know if I had left unannounced, but also for reprimand if either T'Mar, or the Captain, E'Gret, felt it was necessary. Unknown to me at the time, T'Mar turned off the collar's shocking mechanism after one day.

"I diligently worked on the data from the void for them, hoping they would let me go, or at least make my life easier. During this time, I got to know my captor, T'Mar better. We even struck a friendship. On what was to be my last day with him, he informed me that the collar was not in working order, and that he would help me to send a message to the Federation.

"This I did. Not long afterwords, we were on the bridge, giving E'Gret the void data, when I recognized the Federation's cloaked signature. At this time, T'Mar decided that he could not work for E'Gret anymore. He aided me in trying to find the boarding teams from the Federation. Unfortunately, just before Lt. Quell's team found us, E'Gret did so. He shot T'Mar, full force in the chest. Lt. Quell took care of E'Gret, and just before transport, I was able to remove T'Mar's family necklace from his neck.

"It is with my sincere regret that I will not be able to see T'Mar again. He became a good friend in the short time we had, and he gave his life for me. The shot that he took was aimed at me. Though E'Gret's actions cannot be excused, I would like to have it noted that not all of the Fulians are bad people."
