Duty Log, First Lt. Jen Lee

Stardate 9912.06

Second officer's log, First Lt. Jen Lee recording. Again, we find ourselves in uncharted waters. We were asked to aid the freighter Libra which had been attacked by what they claimed to be "old" Klingons. An away team beamed onto the freighter to help, while those of us left on the ship tried to find information about the Libra's attacker.

I was able to find trace residue from a Klingon vessel, which was headed for a Y-Class planet three light-years away. Meanwhile, Lt. Vectra kept an eye on the Libra's tachyon and anti-tachyon emissions, which were not acting in a normal behavior. Apparently, some radiation from the vessel was vented as well, which enveloped us in a cloud but caused almost no damage.

The away team was beamed back with a slight amount of trouble, but all returned safe and sound. Next we are set to trail this Klingon vessel. Its type hasn't been in general use for decades though -- since a time before Klingons developed well defined ridges on their foreheads.
